Our design approach for the Hartford Wing is rooted in the timeless elegance and storied glamour of The Ocean Club—where classical architecture, lush tropical gardens, and the ever-changing light of the ocean create an atmosphere that is both refined and transportive.
Throughout the guestrooms, moments of curation and storytelling are thoughtfully integrated. A collection of black-and-white photographs depicting The Ocean Club itself—its architecture, gardens, lifestyle, and iconic landscapes—is presented in a gallery-style arrangement. Each image is framed in a unique frame, drawing inspiration from the beloved collection of guest photographs displayed throughout the Martini Bar, where portraits of notable visitors, celebrated figures, and cherished longtime guests have become part of the property's enduring character. Together, these photographs create a visual connection to the hotel's rich history while reinforcing a sense of place unique to The Ocean Club.
